Supplies: 4x6 index cards, photos (or photocopies), pen or marker, glue stick There are so many people in my life that I love and want to pray for that sometimes I’m afraid that I might forget someone. To make sure I don’t overlook anyone when I pray, I make prayer cards. Having a card with their picture on it helps me to concentrate on that person and ask God to bless them. You can make a prayer card for anyone you want, even someone who isn’t nice to you. Don’t forget to make a card for yourself! Try to make sure your words are positive. For example, instead of writing something like “Please make grandpa’s cancer go away”, you could write something like “Thank you for blessing grandpa with good health”. If you are not sure, you can ask a parent or grown up to help you with the words. Usually what you feel like writing is the best thing. I always put Thank You at the end of each card because it is important that we are grateful (thankful) for the things in our life. Here are examples of some cards I have made:
